The South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA) is a non-profit corporation that represents several public entities in the South Texas area. These entities are committed to enhancing participation for disadvantaged, minority and woman owned businesses in public/government contracting and purchasing activities. The SCTRCA is committed to ensuring that only firms meeting the eligibility criteria or 49 CFR Part 26 participate in contracting and procurement as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). Small ,Minority, and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (SMWBE) are certified in accordance to SCTRCA Standards.

As of January 19, 2007 the City of Austin will now facilitate the certification for all vendors, in the Austin area and surrounding counties, seeking City of Austin certification as a Minority, Woman, or Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.  Please contact the City of Austin Department of Small Minority Business Resources at 512-974-7600.  The SCTRCA appreciates the opportunity to service City of Austin vendors and extends any vendor seeking San Antonio business opportunities to contact our offices for certification in our local program.
